CNC Programmer, CAMWorks, PM Shift

Intellivation manufactures high tech machines which are used in a wide range of industries including aerospace, defense, medical, energy, and solar. We are not a job shop. We utilize our in-house machine shop to manufacture these machines, working mostly with aluminum and also with stainless steel, copper, carbon steel, plastics, and some other metals. We are vertically integrated with all engineering, machining, welding, assembly, and testing operations performed on site.

We currently have 11 CNC machines including VMC’s, Dual Spindle Lathes, a 7-axis multitasking machine, and one of the largest Horizontal Boring Mill’s in the state of Colorado.

We are seeking a top-notch individual to perform CNC programming using CAMWorks software. While CAMWorks experience is preferred, we will train the right candidate who comes in with MasterCAM experience, which we recently migrated away from.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to support our mission for excellence.

Schedule

Full time, 40 hours per week, PM Shift, 11 AM-7:30 PM

Typical Tasks

  • Create new programs for 3 axis CNC mills using CAM Works
  • Adjust Feeds, Speeds, and offsets to ensure accuracy and quality of machined parts.
  • Make adjustments, and modifications to existing programs to support Machinists
  • Read part prints, and determine the best machining strategy to hit tolerances
  • Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).

CNC Lathe Machinist

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday
Experience: 2+ years machining experience preferred
Work Location: one location in Loveland, Colorado

We are hiring for our morning and afternoon shifts.
Morning shift: 5 AM – 1:30 PM Monday – Friday, with occasional Saturdays

Typical Tasks

  • Setup and operate Haass 3 axis CNC Mills and Haas CNC lathes with live tooling and Y axis,
  • Adjust Feeds, Speeds, and offsets to ensure accuracy and quality of machined parts
  • Setup and operate manual Mills and Lathes
  • Precision machining of aluminum, stainless steel, copper, carbon steel, ceramics, plastics, and other materials, per prints

  • Inspection of completed parts
  • Maintaining a clean work environment

Mechanical Technician, Machinery Manufacturer

The Mechanical Technician role would be part of a production team responsible for assembling, testing and providing solutions for customers by delivering high quality state-of-the-art equipment. Tasks

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience including problem solving skills
  • Precision assembly & test of high-tech equipment.
  • Read & understand schematics, drawings, and complex instructions.
  • Use of calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools.
  • Diagnose and trouble shoot mechanical issues in a timely manner.
  • Precision assembly and test of large and small stainless steel, aluminum, and steel machined and welded parts, per drawings.
  • Assembly, test and calibrate mechanical, pneumatic, fluid, and other systems.
  • Helium leak testing completed systems and subassemblies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records
  • Support operations planning and delegation of tasks
  • Work with cross functional team including engineering and machining department.
  • Knowledge or experience with High Vacuum systems (preferred).
  • Operate forklift (preferred).
  • Occasional travel to customer sites to install and service machines (preferred).

    SCADA & Controls Engineer

    Intellivation is seeking an individual with SCADA and PLC Controls Engineering programming skills to join our team. We are a locally owned and operated company that designs and builds innovative machinery used in the manufacturing of high-tech products for industries including aerospace, defense, medical, energy, and solar. Engineering, machining, welding, assembly, and commissioning are all performed at our site in Colorado factory. In this role, you will be involved in all phases of projects from conception to completion.

    The ideal individual for this role has at least 2 years of PLC/SCADA experience with RS Logix and System Platform, has strong electrical aptitude, a hands-on approach, is self-motivated, and able to creatively solve a variety of engineering challenges.

    Responsibilities

    • SCADA / HMI programming using Wonderware System Platform software
    • Ladder logic PLC programming using RS Logix software in conjunction with Rockwell Automation Allen-Bradley hardware
    • Development and testing of new software code
    • Commissioning machines
    • Supporting machines in the field remotely
    • Travelling to customer sites for equipment installation and service

    Requirements

    • Ability to work within a team and independently
    • ABET accredited electrical / controls engineering degree (bachelor or higher)
    • Strong programming skills
    • Proven ability to communicate in verbal and written skills
    • Able to work indefinitely in the United States without need for sponsorship
    • Background check 
    • Ability to travel domestically and abroad to customer sites (5% – 10% travel)

    Preferred

    • A strong background or interest in physics is preferred

    Job Description: As a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 5-15 years of experience, you will be responsible for detail design of machine systems and subsystems, coordination with internal and external suppliers, and working with internal teams to build and test equipment, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing resources, and continuous improvement.

    Key responsibilities

    • Mechanical engineering calculations.
    • CAD modeling of complex assemblies.
    • Design of machined parts and sheet metal parts.
    • Creation of assembly drawings.
    • Maintaining Bill of Materials.
    • Obtaining quotes for purchased parts and raw material stock.
    • Purchasing parts and raw materials from external vendors.
    • Ordering machined parts and weldments from internal teams.
    • Working with internal teams during assembly and test of complex assemblies and entire machines.
    • Customer support.

    Qualifications

    • Hands on experience and natural mechanical inclination.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with > 5 years equipment or component design
    • Proven experience in an engineering role, with a track record of successfully completing complex projects.
    • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in mechanical system design, development, and implementation.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
